HMGA Officer Roles and Responsibilities

 

President- Nils Florander

• Represents HMGA on applicable Boards and Committees
• Serves as main liaison with HLGA.
• Builds and manages Pro-Prez event and posts results.
• Coordinates communication to Members
• Oversees Member-Member Committee Meetings
• Leads periodic HMGA officer meetings and coordinates with Pro Staff as appropriate.
• Supports VP in building Tournament Schedule
• Supports VP as Tournament Chair
• Builds Agenda and Leads Member Annual Meeting
• Responsible for Training and Development of VP and Secretary/Treasurer
• Responsible for contacting New Hills Members regarding joining HMGA.

 

Vice President- Kevin Hofer

• Responsible for Updating Golf Genius Portal for new Golf Year
• Responsible for building annual tournament schedule.
• Serves as Tournament Chair for all HMGA tournaments.
• Responsible for Golf Genius Management throughout the year
• Manages website including Advertising.
• Backs up President on any Committee responsibilities.
• Maintains and updates recognition plaques.
• Leads HMGA officer search and election for subsequent year.
• Responsible for determining Field for Tournament of Champions

 

Secretary Treasurer- Jim Daniels

• Prepares Yearly Budget, Major Event Budget, Pays Bills, Reconciles Bank Account
• Responsible for coordinating periodic Food and Beverage at events.
• Serves as Handicap Committee representative for HMGA.
• Supports VP in building Tournament Schedule and supporting role as Tournament Chair
• Provides Regular updates on Budget and summary of Major Event Expenditures.
